COMPLIMENTARY INITIAL CONSULTATION

Solid relationships are built on trust. This initial meeting is designed to establish trust and get to know each other. We will discuss your financial concerns and your motivation in seeking professional advice. Together, we will determine which planning model will best help you accomplish the financial goals for you and your family. We work with clients by phone, virtually, or in person. You can expect this meeting to last 30-60 minutes.

We will provide you a fact-finding document to record the details regarding your current financial situation. You may provide this information via spread sheet if preferred. The engagement meeting will be scheduled once this information is received.

Are you looking for a couple of hours of time focused on answering your most pressing financial questions? A Quick Start financial planning session includes 3 hours of consultation with follow-up via email for 1 month.

DETAILED FINANCIAL PLAN

Perfect for DIYers who want to know if they are on track or families without a lot of assets to manage, but they want to get their financial house in order. This type of plan will focus on your primary financial goals and provide a road map for you to follow.

Every situation is unique. We will work together to create a plan focused on the planning areas most relevant to your needs. Most engagements require a series of meetings including an engagement or fact-finding meeting, a check in meeting to clarify details, a working meeting to review preliminary results, identify planning gaps, establish priorities and model possible scenarios followed by a final presentation to review recommendations, supporting financial reports and written action items and agree on next steps.

RETIREMENT PLAN CONSULTATION

Do you need help understanding your employer sponsored retirement plan? These include 401(k), Roth 401(k), 401(a), 403(b), 457, TSP (Thrift Savings Plan), etc.
Are you a small business owner and have questions on what retirement plan options are available to you? What would be the best option for achieving your specific savings objectives? These include SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, Individual 401(k), etc.

Planning is important when seeking positive financial outcomes, but it can feel a little overwhelming. CIS Wealth is here to help you get started, one step at a time. Don’t let fear or indecision keep you from achieving your goals.

What We Offer:

We will work with you to determine your financial goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance. We review your available investment options and provide personalized recommendations on allocating and diversifying your portfolio. It’s important to coordinate and correlate the investments in your retirement plan, your spouse’s retirement plan (if applicable), and any other investment accounts that you may have. These should all be working together to take advantage of the best in class options available in each plan or account. This will ensure your entire investment portfolio is allocated appropriately.

We will help you develop a retirement savings plan, including a disciplined approach for increasing your contributions over time. Along the way, we will talk with you about other financial considerations affecting you and your family.

COLLEGE FUNDING

This includes a review of current college costs at desired institutions including projected inflation factors and savings and investment strategies to accomplish your education funding goals. We will consider tax-advantaged savings plans, tax credits, financial aid, and loan options available to you. The planner will provide investment recommendations and funding order recommendations for children in or nearing college. This service is included in the Detailed Financial Plan and On Going Financial Planning Relationship.

$250 – $500 one time
Upfront fee (depending on number of children)

ON-GOING PLANNING

This is our most popular option. The On-Going Planning relationship is ideal for those who are ready to create a comprehensive plan to identify short and long term financial goals, make the necessary changes to implement any recommendations to accomplish these goals and dreams, and work with a partner to help monitor progress and adapt to life changes as they occur.

Life happens and goals change. Having a financial coach in your corner will help instill the discipline needed to ensure success in achieving both short term and long term financial goals. Together, we can help get you and your family on the path to a more financially fit future. We will look in depth at each area of your financial life and identify what success looks like and how you can get there with our help. This usually requires an initial engagement or fact-finding meeting, a check in meeting to clarify goals and missing details, and at least one or two meetings to review the financial plan. During the first year, you can expect quarterly meetings to implement the planning priorities with on-going Annual Reviews with quarterly check ins as needed.

$750 – $2000 one time, upfront fee
$100 – $500 per month on-going retainer (depending on complexity)

The On-Going Financial Planning relationship provides on-going access to the planner and/or advisor via phone or email as needed (not to exceed 2 hours per month).

With assets under management of $1,000,000 or more, the on-going monthly retainer fee is waived.

A signed financial planning agreement is required to begin any of the above engagement options.

ACCOUNT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Investment Advisory Fees are paid quarterly in advance pursuant to the terms of the Investment Advisory Agreement. Investment Advisory Fees are based on the market value of assets under management at the end of each calendar quarter. Investment Advisory Fees range from a maximum of 2.00% to 0.50% based on the following schedule:

Assets Under Management and Annual Rate

Up to $100,000:    1.00% – 2.00%
$100,001 to $2,000,000:    1.00% – 1.25%
$2,000,000 to $5,000,000:    0.75%
Over $5,000,000:    0.50%

At the sole discretion of the Advisor, the investment advisory fees may be negotiable. Criteria used to determine these fees include but is not limited to; current local industry comparison, size of the portfolio, complexity, and scope of the services to be rendered.
