We all heard about Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath. The center of the hurricane was located directly over Rockport, and wind speeds reached 115-130 mph, leaving destruction in its path.

We are confident, over time, that Rockport will be restored back to the beautiful coastal community where many of us have come to love spending our vacations over the years. Already, power has been restored 3-4 weeks earlier than expected. Praise God!

The devastating flooding in the Houston area is still very prevalent as well. Please keep the thousands of families affected in your thoughts and prayers. We have contacted many of our Houston clients, and thankfully, all of them are doing well. However, many residents still have no home as they are picking up the pieces following the destructive Harvey flooding. Please let us know if you had family affected by the flooding so that we can add them to our prayer request list.

Also, we cannot forget our Florida neighbors and those in the Caribbean who suffered/are suffering tremendously from Hurricanes Irma and Maria. The devastation in the Caribbean islands is overwhelming, and they are in need of funding and aid as well as our very own Texas and Florida. Whether you are wanting to offer aid physically or financially in any of these locations, you can help those in need by contacting:

  • The Salvation Army
  • Samaritan’s Purse
  • Save The Children
  • The Southern Baptist Disaster Relief
  • Heart to Heart International

* Due to the recent Hurricane Harvey that directly hit Rockport, Texas, our Corpus Christi regional office in Rockport will be closed. In the meantime, Mary Jo will either meet clients and prospects in the Corpus Christi area or at a location of their choosing.
